What's your favourite ALL NATURAL 🌱 substitute for xanthan gum?
Ours are CHIA and FLAXSEED!
The combination of chia and flaxseed create a beautiful alternative to using gums or adding lots of starches to your GF baking.
We use only chia, flaxseed and konjac root powder in our GF mixes to help hold things together naturally 😊
They do need a little bit of a sit time about 5-10 min after mixing to let the chia/flax absorb the liquids. It's a natural thickener and works so well!
Just make sure they are finely ground or milled, easily done with a coffee grinder!
